What is a more excellent sacrifice?
Or firstly a sacrifice
A sacrifice is anything that is given to a deity in reverence or for worship
So in this case, what is our sacrifice?
Our sacrifice is our song of Praise and worship to God
Ehmmm God loves excellence in worship and sacrifice
Let me say this that "Our worship appeals to 2 parties; God and Man"
Let's substitute Cain and Abel's sacrifice with our Worship leading in church
A man that leads sincere worship singing off key and the other that leads sincere worship with an awesome vocalist delivery, which would you connect more with?
God will receive both offerings but man would not be able to connect with the first

An excellent sacrifice of Worship is one that appeals to both God and Man
Remember that you are a worship leader. So the people are to follow you as a leader
You don't lead yourself. You lead people
Somebody once said that if you think you're leading and nobody is following you, then you're just taking a walk
If nobody can connect or you alone is connected, then you're not leading
This applies to to both the singer and accompanist or as we call them instrumentalist
Let me say that all the people on stage, from the soloist to the back ups to the instrumentalist are leading the worship
Our sacrifice of Worship needs to be Excellent!!! A non excellent sacrifice of Worship is just like you bringing a one legged cow or goat to God's altar in the old testament
Our Worship music must be organized, clean, classy, and entertaining
Our Worship music must be
Organized
That is,
Nobody should be louder than the lead singer.
Back up singers should be conscious of their harmony,
instrumentalist should not solo while the Music is on,
back up singers should not riff and run while the lead singer is singing
Our Worship music must be
Classy
That is, it should be Excellent in delivery. Listen to some foreign worship tracks or concerts and see how their worship song delivery helps people to worship Jesus freely
Our Worship music must be
Entertaining
We have been made to believe that worship music should only minister, not entertain.
But if your music is not enjoyed by your audience, how do they worship with it? (Ever thought of that?)
Your audience will worship Freely when they enjoy and can relate with the music.
For example, an English man in a Spanish church service. No matter how intense the worship is, if it is in Spanish, the English man would not connect not because he cannot worship God but because he cannot relate with the music neither is the music entertaining.
Entertainment does not mean that the music should be danceable. It means that the listener should be able to relate with the music.

Worship music must not be slow in tempo. Worship is your life and it creates your song*
