MUSICALLY SPEAKING by Gladness Gold Ehmmm (clears throat) I wanna say some things that I have noticed. By God's Grace, I am a Musicologist (in the making) and in my 4 years of study, I have learnt some things and I will like to share with you. Just read on. I may get some lashings but it's okay. You see, we music ministers love to "Spiritualize" almost all our terms. I just want to point out some things so that we can create a balance and so that we don't teach people the wrong things. I understand that there are some terms that we use in Christendom but... Let's just go through some examples 1. "I am not here to sing, I am here to Minister" Dear, Musically Speaking, you are a singer, Spiritually speaking, you're a Minister. So you're both. RESHAPING CULTURE WITH OUR MUSIC by Emmanuel Meceno To form differently the social behavior of a people with good sounds organized in time (definition of the whole concept) Wow, Well, how can you be or create a change in a particular place without changing yourself first?? It's not possible First things first... Ask yourself... Am I a certified musician?? Is music a gift or a talent?  Whatever the case is... How good are you in it?  By book(Mcreynolds) or heart(r.kelly) knowledge  Either way... How far have you gone with any of the knowledge you have? Where have you started? Who knows you in you little sphere and how far have you influenced them with your music?? Why should one even listen to your music? What's your message? Entertainment or the gospel? Whats the content like? Your can't reshape without a shape!!! There must be something on ground first... That is preparation... Which is practice as a musician and then Prayers and study as a Christian

The More Excellent Sacrifice by Gladness Gold So...  What is a more excellent sacrifice? Or firstly a sacrifice  A sacrifice is anything that is given to a deity in reverence or for worship So in this case, what is our sacrifice?  Our sacrifice is our song of Praise and worship to God  Ehmmm God loves excellence in worship and sacrifice  Let me say this that "Our worship appeals to 2 parties; God and Man"  Let's substitute Cain and Abel's sacrifice with our Worship leading in church  A man that leads sincere worship singing off key and the other that leads sincere worship with an awesome vocalist delivery, which would you connect more with?  God will receive both offerings but man would not be able to connect with the first  Hear this An excellent sacrifice of Worship is one that appeals to both God and Man  Remember that you are a worship leader.
