Feelings oscillate, but Joy should be constant! We go through many seasons as humans; good times, bad times, but through all time, one thing should be our constant reality; JOY!  Feelings; especially bad ones, can blind us to the reality of the work happening in our lives at the moment. "Rejoice always, again I say rejoice" was written by a man in prison. This tells us that we can maintain joy no matter what the time is; "for we know that all things work together for our good" I hope you dance and rejoice as you listen to this song  Stream here Download here

THE COUNTRY YOU DESERVE!!! Today, 20th January 2021 makes it 3 months since the Lekki tollgate massacre and yet nobody has been brought to book.  Yet, peaceful protesters were quickly tagged terrorists  We have heard a lot of failed promises and still hear. We have seen systems fail over and over again. We have seen leaders turn tyrants. We have seen politicians hoard country/state resources and treat the masses they were “supposed to serve” as nonentities. We have seen security agents torment and kill the citizens they swore to protect.  “Unknown bandits “ kill our people freely and walk away without being brought to book and we can’t allow this cycle to go on. No! We speak up for a better Nigeria! Gladness Gold teams up with two of Nigeria's most creative musicians; Punimen and Benjiszzy Záakì to serve this one hot. In his own words, he says; "This is not a call to hate on anyone, rather, it is a Clarion call to let us know that we have slept for far too long and...

Songs as we know  express the entirety of the human state whether it be of joy, ecstasy, excitement, sadness, peace, love, hate etc. They're so powerful that the words in them can either lift up our hearts or instill a negative feeling. It is true if we say that all men are impacted and form the basis of a great part of their lives from the music they're exposed to. This tool through which songs make such great impact is the tool of songwriting.  Someone once said "take the political stage and give me the mic and I'll rule your country". This goes further to buttress the importance of songs to affect culture greatly. Its been known as a narrative that gospel songs only end in church and cannot have their impact and influence beyond that terrain. However this is not true . Also the idea that gospel songs should have low standard structure, lyrics and monotony of style is also a wrong narrative. Our God is the most excellent and has given us that ability to groom our...

KayKay is a fast rising Gospel music minister based in Lagos Nigeria. She just released her debut Single titled Father. In her own words, she says  "The song "Father" was birthed whilst reading a book by Omilola Oshikoya entitled "The Richer Woman" and the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me that Nothing can ever separate You from the Love of the Father. When you don't know why God loves you in the first place, it's easy to doubt His love at times because we tend to forget who we are. No man can fathom the depths of Christ Love towards us. I am convinced neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, nor power above or below will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God. It is a simple song of Adoration and Love to the Father because He deserves It. You will definitely be Blessed." Listen and be blessed. Download here

By: Gladness Gold I was speaking with a friend on this issue of Apologies and it got me to write this post. You see, we've been made to think and understand that only wrong people apologize for the wrong that they have done. But I'm of a different opinion. Wanna hear it? Then keep on reading. Apologies do not only apply to the set of people mentioned above. As a matter of fact, some people have a degree in defending their actions whether right or wrong. Listen to me. "You don't apologize because you're wrong or you can't prove a point. You Apologize because you are STRONG" (Gladness Gold 2018) Now, saying sorry doesn't necessarily depict that you're sorry. As a matter of fact, many people say it and repeat their actions. While an apology can be a regretful acknowledgement of a wrong action, An Apology can also be a weapon used to stop raging wars at the moment. You don't need to be wrong to apologize. When you see that you're ...

Worship; The Act and The Life by Mr. Wealth I believe i am talking to music ministers I will first start by debunking some myths associated with worship 1. Worshippers are those who lead in worship: This myth is celebrated today mostly by singers, this is because we don't understand there is a large gap between worship and music. You can sing about who or what you don't worship. You didn't start worshipping when you started singing neither did you stop worshipping when you stoped singing (Mr.wealth, quote author)  That you sing about a thing does not mean you worship that thing.. There are many singers who sing about Heart break who have never had the experience of Heart break in a relationship..  Having debunked that popular might I wish to futher by saying.. You are not a worshipper because you sing, you are a worshipper because you have the spirit of God dwelling in you  Jesus told the woman at the well in John 4 from verse 23.. How that t...
